Urgent Flood Relief Needed in Pakistan

Intense monsoon rains and cloudbursts triggered flash floods on August 15th, 2025, devastating northwestern Pakistan, especially Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Buner, Swat, Bajaur, Battagram, Mansehra, and parts of Gilgit-Baltistan. Landslides and glacial lake outburst floods have since worsened the crisis. The floods have killed over 330 people, injured hundreds, and displaced thousands. Floodwater severely damaged homes, roads, bridges, and the vital Karakoram Highway.

Our team is on the ground delivering emergency food, medical aid, shelter, and restoring access routes while coordinating with authorities to reach the most vulnerable flood-affected communities.

Act now. Help save lives in Pakistan’s flood emergency.

Deadly Monsoon Season

Monsoon season in Pakistan lasts from June to September, unleashing relentless heavy rains that regularly trigger catastrophic floods and deadly landslides. Devastating floods in 2010, 2022, and 2023 claimed thousands of lives and displaced millions, hitting vulnerable regions like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh especially hard. Every year, these brutal monsoon floods destroy homes, wreck infrastructure, and shatter communities, putting millions at immediate risk. With the season in full force, urgent action and lifesaving aid are critical to protect those caught in this escalating disaster.

Our Work in Pakistan

pakistan emergency our work image

For decades, we have provided vital, long-term humanitarian support across Pakistan. Our work spans emergency relief, food security, clean water access, health care, orphan care, and rebuilding communities after disasters like catastrophic floods and earthquakes. Through campaigns like 1 Million Kilos of Rice, we’ve helped fight hunger in some of the hardest-hit areas. We build homes, install water wells and hand pumps, support education, and care for orphans with dignity. We also stand with religious minorities in times of crisis, like assisting Christian families affected by church fires, because we’re committed to serving all vulnerable communities, regardless of faith or background.
