Islamabad: In the last Ashra of Ramadan, Zakat Foundation of America successfully conducted a humanitarian food distribution campaign, benefiting over 300 deserving families in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The initiative aimed to support individuals facing severe financial hardship, ensuring access to essential food during the holy month. Special focus was given to marginalized groups, including widows, members of the transgender community, and homeless individuals. This effort reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian service, promoting dignity, compassion, and social inclusion. Beyond meeting basic needs, the campaign reinforced the true spirit of Ramadan—empathy, generosity, and community support.
