ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) In a major humanitarian initiative, the Zakat Foundation of America on Friday organized a comprehensive Ramzan ration distribution drive in the remote tehsil of Jand, benefiting 300 underprivileged orphan families. The well-planned program aimed to provide essential food supplies ahead of the holy month, thereby easing the burden on vulnerable households living in far-flung villages.
According to details, 100 orphan children from Union Council Pind Sultani and 200 from Union Council Tarap received ration packages under the initiative. Moreover, beneficiary lists were carefully prepared in advance to ensure transparency and fairness in the distribution process.
The ceremonies were conducted in a simple yet dignified manner, while volunteers efficiently managed documentation and orderly distribution.
Organizers stated that the Primary objective of the initiative was to significantly reduce the financial strain on orphan families and to promote compassion and solidarity within society.
Furthermore, they reaffirmed their continued commitment to expanding welfare activities in the region so that more deserving families can benefit from sustained and beneficial assistance in the future.
