Farrukh Raza, Fazlur Rehman and Agha Noor Mohammad Pathan, leaders in the Zakat Foundation of America, said that the Foundation felt the pain of the homeless victims devastated by the flood and according to its plan, has also provided umbrellas to them.

Seeing the smiles on their faces, they said the minority community has often faced poverty and marginalization. Zakat Foundation of America has been actively working for the past 11 months to provide relief to devastated families. Till date, millions of families have received rations, including 360 tons of rice and clean water. The process of providing relief and shelter will continue in the future and Mohammad Danish of the Red Foundation said that the residential project itself was completed in an impressive four months while food and winter packages were also given to flood survivors. Victims also expressed that they would like to donate to Zakat Foundation of America in the future and are grateful to both ZFA and the Red Foundation.
