When are Qurbani 2027 and Eid al-Adha 2027?
The date of the sacred Islamic month of Dhu’l-Hijjah’s start changes every year in the Gregorian calendar, typically 11 days earlier than the previous year’s Dhu’l-Hijjah. Additionally, the celebration of the holiday of Eid al-Adha (and thus its sacrifices) is determined partially by Saudi Arabia’s official announcement of the Hajj pilgrimage schedule.
With Dhu’l-Hijjah 2026 having started on May 18th, 2026, it is expected that Dhul-Hijjah 2027 will begin around May 7th, 2027. Additionally, since Eid al-Adha 2026 was observed on May 26th, 2026, it is possible that Eid al-Adha 2026 will fall on the day of May 17th. And God knows best.
