Tensions have reached a boiling point in the Valley of Kashmir, throughout 2016 the peoples of the besieged region between India and Pakistan occurred in renewed fighting between the two countries, and with the escalation of demonstrations against foreign occupation, and the conflict that killed 90 people throughout the year, and it seems that the situation is likely to escalate in the near future.
The American Zakat Foundation has dedicated itself to serving the besieged Kashmir people since the beginning of the extended period of fighting that disrupted daily life and stopped the supply of basic commodities to innocent families for the time being.
As it did in the past, the Zakat Foundation mobilized to transport life supplies such as food, water and household items to people affected by forces beyond their control.
