Zakat Foundation of America proudly honored community champion Nadia MacIntosh with the Presidential Volunteer Service Gold Award, recognizing her exceptional commitment to serving Baltimore’s most vulnerable residents.

Known affectionately as the “Angel of Goodwill,” Ms. MacIntosh has selflessly dedicated her time and energy to supporting homeless and refugee families across one of the city’s most underserved neighborhoods. From offering emergency shelter to distributing food and essential supplies, her tireless work continues to uplift countless lives.

The award ceremony was a heartwarming moment. Ms. MacIntosh beamed with joy as she received the gold medal — a symbol of deep gratitude for her inspiring compassion and community impact.

Zakat Foundation of America has been honored to collaborate with Ms. MacIntosh through multiple Back-to-School drives and Thanksgiving food box distributions, helping spread hope and dignity to families in need.
