Ramadan brings a special energy. It's a period for Muslims globally to pause, unite, and deepen their faith. More than abstaining from food and prayers, Ramadan encompasses a celebration of culture, Muslim identity, and community bonds. Throughout this sacred month, Muslim organizations prioritize sharing knowledge to enrich the experience for all. One of them is the Muslim American Society with their In the Shade of Ramadan Series.
“In the Shade of Ramadan" is an annual video series launched in 2006 to offer spiritual guidance and education during Ramadan. Hosted by MAS speakers, the series aims to reach the Muslim community with key messages. Viewers can access the videos on platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, or watch them during local tarawih programs at MAS centres or mosques. This year, celebrate the series' 30th anniversary with a special ISR season, featuring the top 30 episodes for a nostalgic journey through past Ramadan memories.
Not so long ago, MAS presented the 1st episode of Season 11 of In The Shade of Ramadan: Nothing In This Universe is A Coincidence. As MAS stated in their description: “Allah has created everything with a purpose. Take a look around you: notice the patterns of nature, life, and the coming and going of trials. Nothing is a coincidence.” Keep up with MAS on this 8-episode journey throughout Ramadan as we all together explore the Divine Patterns of Allah that govern the universe.
