A Glimpse of Reality

It has been two years since the crisis escalated into a humanitarian catastrophe. The devastation continues to ripple through every corner of life, families displaced, schools shuttered, homes destroyed, and basic needs left unmet. The weight of loss is heavy. But so is the power of your response.

With your unwavering support, we were able to deliver life-saving aid, restore dignity, and provide moments of relief. Together, we’ve served hot meals, sheltered families, delivered medicine, and supported children who dream of a better future.

Thank you for showing up when you were needed most.

Stories of Change

gazaomarkareem

Winter in Gaza deepens the suffering of families already torn by crisis. Cousins Omar and Kareem lost over twenty relatives and were displaced from Bir Al-Naaja to a crowded school in Jabaliya. With seven family members each, including toddlers and school-aged children, they struggled to protect their loved ones from the cold. Zakat Foundation of America’s Winter Relief program delivered warm clothing that offered not just physical protection, but dignity and hope. In a season of bitter winds and bitterer memories, our aid reminded them they are not forgotten.

In the heart of Gaza’s crisis, we met Hamada, a father who lost his entire family in one devastating strike. He buried what little was left: a shoe, a cloth, a memory. Now displaced and injured, he lives alone in a tent in Al-Mawasi. But he is not alone. Zakat Foundation of America is there, delivering food, water, medicine, and winter essentials to thousands like Hamada. In the face of unimaginable loss, we bring dignity, survival, and hope. Because where life remains, so does our commitment to serve.
