Afghanistan Earthquake Relief
Send critical aid to families affected by the disaster.
Our Team Continues to Deliver Aid to Earthquake Survivors
Recovery and rebuilding continue in the aftermath of the devastating 6.0-magnitude earthquake that struck southeastern Afghanistan on August 31, 2025, impacting up to 1.3 million across the Nangarhar and Kunar provinces and triggering multiple aftershocks near Basawul and Jalalabad.
We were among the first on the ground, distributing food, tents, kitchen supplies, and hygiene kits to support those in need. With winter conditions worsening, affected families need warmth and safety.
Continue to support affected families.

A Country Prone to Seismic Activity
Known to be situated in one of Central Asia’s seismic activity zones, Afghanistan has a history of catastrophic earthquakes. We were on the ground providing emergency relief in 2022 and in 2023, along with our ongoing programs of Orphan Care, Seasonal Islamic Giving, Food Security, Education, and other long-term rebuilding projects.
The people of Afghanistan urgently need your continued support as they face the compounded challenges of climate change, recurring natural disasters, and widespread food insecurity.
