Dr. Eman Ibrahim Yarrow

Dr. Eman Ibrahim Yarrow has devoted more than two decades to expanding educational opportunities, empowering youth, and strengthening support for vulnerable communities across the world. His work bridges humanitarian response and long-term development, with a focus on education systems, social protection, and refugee populations. 

Dr. Eman built his career at the intersection of scholarship and practice, working with the United Nations and other international organizations across Africa, the Middle East, and the United States while also teaching and mentoring emerging leaders. From 2018–2025, he served as a diplomat with the United States Agency for International Development, supporting major education initiatives in Somalia and Egypt. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy and now serves as Director of Programs at the Zakat Foundation of America, overseeing global programs and partnerships worldwide, advancing opportunity, dignity, and resilience.
