Because of the chilly weather in Northern Lebanon, Jamila caught a severe cold which developed into Bronchitis. Jamila’s father also suffers from a medical condition and is therefore unemployed. He is struggling to cover the family’s monthly expenses, which include $150 for rent, $600 for food and other expenditures.
In order to help Jamila and her family during this difficult time, Zakat Foundation of America treated Jamila at the Zakat Foundation of America Clinic in Northern Lebanon and is now supplying her with the medicine she needs for free. Zakat Foundation of America is also providing aid to Jamila’s family until her father gets back on his feet and is able to support his family on his own.
