Eid Mubarak from all of us here at Zakat Foundation of America! We wanted to share the impact your gifts of fresh meat during the Udhiyah (also known as Qurbani) season have made in different parts of the world.

The pandemic is spiking world hunger to unprecedented levels, affecting the most vulnerable: women and children. Our Seasonal Islamic Giving Program is one of the many lifelines the hungry can rely on.

Our team ensures that we source ethically raised, healthy, local livestock in 46 countries during Eid al-Adha. When people in need receive these gifts of Qurbani meat, they are so thankful! Our field representatives in 46 countries shared how they saw the immediate joy in our beneficiaries’ faces when they were given fresh, halal meat.
