Medical Clinic Opens in Turkey

As long as the conflict continues in Syria, more refugees will seek shelter in neighboring Turkey. In response to the increasing needs of Syrian refugees, Zakat Foundation of America has opened a new health clinic focusing on medical treatment for refugee patients.

The clinic will be based in the Hatay province and will include a medical staff composed of doctors, specialists, psychiatrists, and teachers who will be assisting the clinics 300 registered patients.

Zakat Foundation of America is also involved in several other initiatives in Turkey helping the Syrian refugee population, including education and orphan sponsorship.
