On August 12th, Zakat Foundation of America Community Center Chicago (Zakat Foundation of AmericaCCC) hosted its 2nd Annual Community Health Fair or Back to School Community Fair at its south side office. With over 200 people in attendance the event was a huge success and spoke volumes to the work Zakat Foundation of America believes so firmly in. The event included a book bag giveaway, clothing distribution, health screenings, back to school immunizations and live entertainment. The event included the Chicago Department of Public Health, Chicago Family Health, and other community leaders.
Based in the heart of the South Shore community in Chicago, Zakat Foundation of AmericaCCC focuses on education, healthcare, and food aid.
