Ramadan is a blessed month, a month of charity and sharing and of giving to others what one wishes for him/herself.
During this month, Muslims not only fast, but share their blessings of wealth and care for needy and poor. This process of inner tranquility and outward charity that Muslims go through enables Zakat Foundation to reach hundreds and thousands of poor and needy worldwide on behalf of the Muslim community. We have provided iftars from Chicago, USA to Indonesia/Ache. We have delivered food from Ghana/West Africa to earthquake victims of Pakistan and Kashmir. The generosity of our donors reached from Palestine and Lebanon to Iraq, from Niger to the slums of New Delhi, India. Truly we are grateful to our Lord (SWT) who enables us to reach people; to touch their lives, to share, care and give.
