Udhiya/Qurbani Program Reaches About 100,000 Families

During the 2010 Udhiya/Qurbani season, donors and supporters of Chicago-based charity organization Zakat Foundation were able to provide fresh meat to an estimated 99,840 hungry and needy families in 37 countries.
Zakat Foundation has enacted its Udhiya/Qurbani program since the establishment of the organization in 2001. Each year, Zakat looks to strengthen our presence in some of the world’s poorest communities, while forming relationships with local farmers and community leaders.
