Kashmir, Iqbal High School-After
Zakat Foundation of America (ZF) proudly announces, with the grace of Allah (swt), the School Development Project in Kashmir is now complete.
Since 1947 the area of Kashmir has been under constant conflict. As India and Pakistan battle over which government has a right to Kashmir, the people of the region suffer from conflict. ZF believes that education is the most important asset to a child and has worked hard for the past year to open a school in the unstable region.
Today the project went from being an idea on a drawing board to a reality. Iqbal Public High School is a place where young adults can learn in a safe and peaceful environment. Support projects like this and provide an education for a child or young adult that will last a lifetime.
